Hi Friend,
I used to only feel powerful when I was pushing—fueled by anxiety (dressed up as adrenaline), hyper-focused under pressure, and running on fumes.
I was holding it all—and doing it very, very well.
I didn’t think there was another way to succeed except “power through pressure.”
Balance didn’t just feel elusive—it felt boring. Weak. Lazy.
BUTTT here’s what I didn’t realise:
👉 I wasn’t just chasing success—I was running from stillness.
And under that resistance? Wasn’t laziness. It was nervous system dysregulation.
I was scared of what might surface if I actually slowed down:
the unprocessed grief
the rage
the truth that I was living out of alignment
the fear that if I stopped proving, I’d stop being worthy
Add to that a culture that screams “slow = failure”… and no wonder we numb, suppress and stress-the-f-out our bodies and minds instead.
So no, stillness didn’t come to me because I ticked off the CEO morning meditation app or had a handstand of enlightenment in an advanced yoga practice.
Stillness came because I unraveled.
Because I stopped performing for value.
Because I got curious: “What if strength and softness aren’t opposites?”
Because I stopped abandoning myself just to keep up.
And now, let me say this with my full chest:
🌀 Your body is not the problem.
It’s the path.
We live in a world that wants you distracted, exhausted, and endlessly self-improving.
But your most radical act?
Feeling safe in your body.
Feeling safe in yourself.
Feeling powerful—because your life force radiates from within.
🌀 Self-Inquiry Q:
Where in your life do you confuse tension with safety?
What would it feel like to soften… without losing your edge?
🌀 Homebody highlight:
Acupressure: Stomach 25 (ST25)

STOMACH 25 – “The Worry Button”

✨ Calms overthinking + mental chaos
✨ Eases digestive tension
✨ Helps you feel centered and clear
I press this point every night before bed.
And I swear, my sleep has gotten deeper, my dreams more vivid, and it stops my mental hula hooping!
Try it.
Breathe into it.
Let your gut—and your thoughts—exhale.
