A beautiful moment in the year for tending to your flame and feeling at home in your body.


As we’re a few weeks into the new physical space at Dharma Chamonix and the Homebody + Core program, I wanted to answer some questions I got more than once this week.


“Is Homebody for beginners? I haven’t done yoga in a while.”
Yes. Homebody isn’t about performance, it’s about listening, recovery, nervous system regulation, and building vitality from within. Homebody is less about traditional yoga shapes and more about moving energy through the meridians (linked to organ health, emotions, and regulation).
Everything can be adapted for beginners or more experienced bodies. I always encourage you to bring the ground up to meet you; using cushions, bolsters, blankets, or blocks.

“I already go to the gym and stretch — will this still help me?”
Definitely. Homebody + Core often fill the missing piece in an active lifestyle.
Through functional strength, breathwork, and acupressure, these classes support recovery, posture, digestion, and nervous system balance: so everything else you do works better.

The feeling of strength after doing the 500 reps lasts for days!! Having a strong core makes everything better - travelling, working, working out, sports, dancing and how you feel about yourself.


“I’m afraid of Core… what if I can’t do the 500 reps?”
Bring the fear - that’s part of the practice.
CORE 500 is a very specific structure (5 × 50 reps, twice). You can pause, modify, or rejoin at any time.
CORE isn’t about abs - it’s about courage, inner fire, stability, posture, and learning that you can hold yourself up. Most people surprise themselves.


“Where should I start?”
Start where you are.
Come on Monday and Wednesday, and if you can, repeat one class at home on the weekend. That rhythm alone can create noticeable shifts — less tension, clearer thinking, MORE ENERGY, and a body that feels supported again.

What these classes are really about...

Homebody
Regeneration, recovery, nervous system regulation, digestion, emotional processing, and vitality.
A space to release tension, restore calm and come home to yourself.


Core
Strength, stability, posture, confidence, courage, and inner fire.
A way to feel supported from the inside — physically and emotionally.

Together, they offer something rare:
strength and recovery.
Not pushing. Not collapsing.
Just feeling strong, calm, and at home in your body.


With the current rhythm of twice per week, you also have space to practice with the replays at home — letting the work land more deeply and at your own pace.
