“oh shit… this is actually happening.”
Who hasn’t found themselves at some point in the day:
worrying
overthinking
over-worrying
over-reacting
overworking
overdoing it
…under-slept and completely exhausted.

Sometimes we place enormous pressure on ourselves and on the people we love, to give us the certainty we feel we need.
But what if there's a magic button for overthinking?

The magic button is:
ST 25 : Stomach 25
It’s been part of my bedtime routine for over a year now.
My stomach has never been flatter.
My sleep is deep.
And falling asleep and switching my mind off - something that used to be incredibly difficult for me, especially through grief - is now effortless.
When I press ST 25, I can literally feel it:
My mind loosens its grip on the endless loop of thoughts.
My belly softens.
My breath deepens.
And the whole body begins to relax.
It’s subtle, but it’s powerful.
And when I work around ST 25 and the belly button area during meridian therapy treatments, clients often experience a surprisingly deep emotional release. This can particularly beneficial if you are feeling stuck, heavy and weighed down by life.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Stomach and Spleen meridians govern how we digest life itself. Not just food, but experiences, stress, emotions and change.
Which is why this week in class we work with the front body and core with the stomach and spleen meridians to support these systems to:
• stimulate digestion
• stimulate inner fire
• calm mental rumination
• build strength and connection in your centre
• restore confidence
I often say the stomach and spleen are about building a strong centre and sometimes that simply means showing up, moving, breathing, and letting the body do the rest.
