Subject: When things feel stuck...

Hi Friend,

Some weeks carry more than others.

This time in February often has us walking a quiet line between winter’s need for rest and restoration, and the early stirrings of spring asking us to clear, move, and make space for what’s next.

There’s a line from the Yoga Sutras that stays with me:
when the body is tense, the mind will always suffer.

What I’ve learned, especially through the past threes years of studying the meridian system through yoga, breathwork, and acupressure is this:

give the body a little = the body gives you a lot back.

Giving the body a little can look like:

  • breathing slowly and consciously as we move

  • holding an acupressure point and staying with the breath

  • placing a hand over the heart and breathing

  • actively engaging in 500 reps in CORE

  • then intentionally down-regulating through an hour of body-first Homebody practice

What the body gives you back:

  • steady energy for life - travel, work, play, and rest - without burnout

  • sustainable vitality and resilience

  • naturally balanced hormones and libido

  • deeper, consistent sleep

  • confidence and good posture developement

  • mental clarity, focus and productivity

  • self honour and mutual respect in relationships

  • comfort with pleasure and presence in daily life

This is why, each month in Homebody + Core, we move through both muscles and meridians supporting whole-body rejuvenation, strength, and recovery from the inside out.

This week, Homebody + Core focus on the Liver & Gallbladder for processing, releasing stagnation, hormonal balance, and restoring a sense of direction, purpose, and willpower.

In class on Monday and Wednesday, we’ll work gently with:

  • side body + hips

  • twists and slow, intentional strength

  • breath and acupressure to support emotional processing and balance

If you’ve been feeling stuck, tense, or inwardly restless, this class is for you.

Come as you are,

Heidi 🤍
