Subject: Clearing the clutter in body + mind 🔁

You know what’s wild Friend?

It’s easier to push through a 500-rep workout
than it is to actually relax,

to slow down,
to listen.

To give space in your day to give your body the softness it’s been craving —
without guilt, without rushing, without performing "I'm fine".

Because that’s what we’ve been taught, right?

Adrenaline is productive.
And that stillness is weakness.
If you’re not grinding your teeth and overgiving, you’re falling behind.

But your body…
she/he knows a truth.

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to force.
it softens through rhythm.
it settles through presence.
it remembers safety through the quiet things —
the breath, the exhale, the acupressure point.

Even for me - homebody is not always the class I want to do (I love a good HITT and sweat) but it's the class I need.

It's the class I would not have survived the past 12 months without it.

It's the class that restored calm and safety after the shock of loss.

It's the class that has opened back up my heart and ignited the will to live a big life that i love.

It's the class that brought me home to myself.

Tonight, we practice again.

We build fire.
we let it burn through the noise.
then we drop into the part almost no one teaches:

the landing.
the receiving.

We reconnect to our calm.

Because this isn’t just about core work.
this is nervous system repair,
this is emotional hygiene,
this is vagus nerve toning,
through movement that opens the hips
and breath that whispers: “you’re safe now.”

The virgo new moon is here.
The equinox is on the horizon.

Our bodies are so ready to reset.

if you’re craving softness after the striving,
come join me for core + restore tonight.

We’ll reset the rhythm so that you are beginning a new cycle from your center.

With bare feet + big exhales,

Heidi
