Subject: Squeeze-In Plate Push-Ups...chest contraction exercise
|
This is an excellent inwards-pressing variation of the push-up. It can be a good substitute for a pec deck or cable cross-over exercise in terms of contraction. I've got a pair of 45 lb bumper plates standing up together (the weight doesn't matter... I used these so that the thickness would be about right for this one). The key here is to set your hands flat against the center of the plates so that your body is held up by the inwards tension you're exerting. Nick Nilsson P.S.
