Subject: Elephant curry

Hi Friend

How do you eat an elephant?

This is a phrase I’m sure you’ve heard over the years.

While there is no one correct answer (elephant curry might work?), you’ll hear suggestions…

“Bit by bit” or “one bite at a time”.

Because there’s no way you could do something to such an extreme…

In one sitting.

You must break the elephant into smaller bite-sized chunks and go after it accordingly.

Sitting down consistently five days out of seven, for 30 minutes to eat a bite of your elephant…

Added up over time, it will have you finally finishing the elephant.

Even if you miss out on the odd day here and there…

You’ll still reach your desired goal of finishing the elephant.

Because every day, you know what you’re getting.

Your customers and clients are the same. They like to know what they're getting.

Nothing beats consistency.

It’s better they have an 8/10 healthy-ish diet seven days a week...

Than a 10/10 perfect diet on Mondays till Thursdays. Then spend the entire weekend face down in a Dominos large pizza, four cookies and a tub of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food.

Better to complete an 8/10 workout five times a week...

Than it is to run a Marathon once a month and spend the next two weeks hobbling around, needing to apply fresh dressings and ointment to your disfigured feet.

And better to give your customers or clients a consistent 8/10 product or service...

Than to wow them for a week or two and disappoint them for the rest of the month.

Believe it or not, consistently good is better than inconsistently perfect.

Hit reply if you’re looking for resources to improve your customer journey. I’d be happy to make some suggestions for you.

Best wishes,

Naomi.
