Subject: My "secret weapon" exercise for back development...

(and building an adamantium skeleton)

I know this sounds strange given that this is the top of what is normally a LEG exercise.

The reason WHY is simple... massive loading (I've got 965 lbs on my back in the video here).

This is a whole different animal than a squat because it's definitely NOT a squat.

In order to support this kind of weight, the body prioritizes strengthening and developing the muscles that support the spine and shoulder girdle, especially the traps (upper, middle and lower).
