If you want to truly maximize the weight you're using on dumbbell bench press (incline, flat or decline), these hooks are something you're going to want to learn more about.

They allow you to hang dumbbells from a bar so that you don't have to kick them up to the start position on your own (or need a spotter to help).

This is much more effective for setting up for heavy pressing and MUCH safer.
