Subject: 4 ingredient, research-based T-support formula...

I test a lot of supplements... and I mean a LOT.

And, being over 50 now, I'm always interested in research-backed testosterone supporting fomulas.

That's when Juvenon sent me a bottle of this to try, the first thing I did was look at the ingredients and see what they were and HOW MUCH of each ingredient was in it.

(A lot of companies hide behind "proprietary blends" in order to mask dosages on the actual effetive ingredients).

Here's what's in it...

Let's go through each ingredient really quick...

1. Ashwagandha Root Extract

This is one I've used a fair bit before and it does have good research backing it up in terms of improving T levels, especially in men with stress (which is most of us, tbh).

The dosage is right in line with clinically proven effective dosage levels.

In terms of action, this is the powerhouse ingredients in the formula.

2. Saw Palmetto

This ingredient is more targeted for its prostrate-protective rather than T boosting. It's a good one to include in the formula from an "overall male" perspective rather than drumming up hormone levels.

The dosage on this IS in the effective range, which is good.

3. Fenugreek Seed Extract

This does have some evidence for increasing total testosterone in men and the 200 mg dose IS in the clinially studied range. It's a good addition to the formula.

4. Boron Citrate

This ingredient I'm on the fence on. There are some studies showing that it postively affects free testosterone or the testosterone/estradiol ratio, but the amount of current research is small.

The dosage in this formula is within the ranges that were studied and well below the upper end of intake.

Interestingly enough, I actually used a boron supplement in my first year of training, 35+ years ago. At that time, I was 18 years old and eating 8,000 calories a day, and training twice a day, six days a week, so I can't really say if it worked for me or not!

It's not going to hurt you and may have a positive effect, though, so I'm good with it being in this formula.

My overall impression...

I like this formula. I think it has a good basis for the ingredients in it, for the most part.

In my own experience with it, I definitely found it helped with recovery from hard training (stress).

I was able to keep my energy levels up while training in the next session (that sometimes is something I run into when I hit it too hard in one session...the next one suffers). Didn't have to deal with that as much while taking this formula.

I think it's worth trying out if you're over 50 and are looking for a potential edge in recovery from training and support during stressful times.

The Saw Palmetto is always going to be helpful in men over 50 as well!
