Dissolving What Disconnects
Aloha Friend
I'm clearing out all the crap that distracts me from a true sense of agency.
I've observed how many of us are craving empowerment - to trust ourselves and our call to change. Whether you want to study something new, take a trip, get into a solid health routine, or rearrange your home space to make room for a meditation altar, commitment is key. Once we make a decision, it is natural for doubts, challenges, setbacks, and feelings of awkwardness to creep in. Lean into the small accomplishments, take the steps, allow room for rest, and realign when needed.
Lasting shifts in our operating system take time to learn, adjust, and integrate. I decided to take a Pilates & Reformer training to round out my workout routine and recondition physical fitness after surgery. And goodness gracious, has it been an interesting interplay between feeling confident and totally mushy! As I enter the Spring season, I am excited and want to do a happy dance because I see the results of my hard work and dedication.
Energy flows where attention goes.
The truth is that every time we clear a path to greater wellness, build the courage to consistently attend to what really matters to our hearts, or live our personal values instead of staying in the status quo, we get a burst of power. Neuropathways sparkle with updated operations; the old systems dissolve. Pattern breaking becomes salvation. It sets our souls free from restriction and builds tremendous self-respect.
I know I'm speaking to the choir - but when I am distracted by meaningless activities, my vibrational field lowers, and my poor emotional-mental body suffers! As I move toward what gives me a brighter life, I get an instant uplift. You know that sparkle of crystal clarity. We have all been there: suspended in a threshold moment, where stepping through is both internally significant and yet quietly anticlimactic. I'm seeing how repeating small breakthroughs day after day accumulates vigor, resolve, and bravery for future efforts.
Yes, there is always so much going on in the world. And my joy and deep peace are making it a better place. When I live in the present moment, connect with someone's eyes in conversation, exchange the grace of compassion, or stand up for something I believe in, I invest in what is real, true, and valuable. May we all be motivated to take assured actions in the areas of our lives that need our attention. May we rise higher to the occasion.
