In the Spirit of Mercury Retrograde, I am bringing back some favorite moments on the journey of Cloud Nine Yoga School. From Laguna Beach, CA (above, circa 2009) to the Big Island of Hawai'i at Hawaiian Sanctuary (below) to the sprawling lawns at the Tuscany Hills Resort (2014)-- and so many more amazing places -- we have made sweet memories together. If you have been along for the ride, you may find yourself in these pages. I started keeping digital photos in the early 2000's, but so many photos were lost due to computer crashes... until "cloud space" became a thing. Now I have a holding place for tens of thousands of photos, from 2005 until now. That's about 20 years of Yoga adventures, classes, retreats, and trainings from California to Bali, Colorado to Hawaii, frozen in time. Blips and half-second scenes from bigger stories that have enriched my existence and made me whole.

I always loved capturing the natural moments; unposed, blissful faces. They are often made greater because I was living them, truly present with the finite mood. I know quite well these awesome studios I worked with, owned, or rented were only temporary - they repeat their presence in dreams sometimes, reminders of the walls that touched souls. What an honor to share these environments with beautiful, unique humans, mostly here with me only for a season. You, who brighten my world and remain ever close to my heart, thank you.

All of us are here for a limited time. Fleeting worlds within worlds are coming together and then pulling away. Our orbits are fascinating to consider. Within a galaxy called Cloud Nine, we have our own special Universe. Teaching each other, learning together, awakening to ourselves, and sharing an intimate bond through a practice that builds inner reserves.
