THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITIES

WRITER'S GROUP (Tuesday 5-6:30 PM - September 8th)

If you write stories, poems or journal, this is the place for you. Join this group of talented and supportive writers. No experience necessary.


SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - September 13th)

Our host will be Jennifer Utley, music will be provided by Debra the Hand Pan Lady and some original Wayfarers will share their memories. Please stay for something to eat and enjoy the rest of the day's activities.  


40th ANNIVERSARY (September 12th and 13th)

Join us Saturday and Sunday for a number of fun and meaningful events as we celebrate 40 years at Wayfarers Chapel. Please refer to the schedule that is in your email and on the website. Keep in mind that parking at the chapel is limited and CAR POOL WHEREVER POSSIBLE. There will be some additional parking available at the small house at the dead end of Wayfarers Lane. 


LOOSE SHOES DUO (Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 September 13th)

Don't miss the last deck concert of the season with The Loose Shoes Duo, featuring founding members Ric and Pam Cushenan, who have been performing vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar arrangements together since 2001. Pam brings a rich background in gospel, rock, blues, and folk singing, while Ric contributes guitar and vocals.

SAVE THE DATE

REIKI (Wednesday 4-6 PM - September 16th)

Reiki practitioners will offer complementary sessions to assist you in your journey to greater physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Sessions are held in the main chapel and are free and open to everyone.


OPELSKE (Saturday 9 AM - September 26th)

If you are a gardener or just love the land where our chapel is located, join the Opelske team on the last Saturday of each month. A group of folks who appreciate the beauty of our location get together and work to care for it. Contact Joyce Oliver for more information.


DRUM CIRCLE (Sunday 6-8 PM - September 27th)

Our next drum circle is July 26th. If the weather is good we will be out on the porch. Otherwise, we'll be inside. No experience necessary. If you have a drum, percussion, or other instrument, bring it. If not, we have plenty of instruments to share.
