SAVE THE DATE

OPELSKE (Saturday 9 AM - September 26th)

Before we know it, leaf season will be here and there will be extra work required to keep our sidewalks and parking areas free of leaves and other debris. If you love the land where our chapel is located, join the Opelske team to keep our chapel grounds beautiful. Contact Joyce Oliver at (882) 200-9160 for more information.

DRUM CIRCLE (Sunday 6-8 PM - September 27th)

Our next drum circle is July 27th. If the weather is good we will be out on the porch. Otherwise, we'll be inside. No experience necessary. If you have a drum, percussion, or other instrument, bring it. If not, we have plenty of instruments to share.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Jen Utley was the host for our 40th Anniversary service. We were treated to the unique sounds of Debra the Handpan Lady who played her beautiful music throughout the service and a number of original Wayfarers shared their memories of our chapel's beginnings. Past Sunday Talks can be found here.

Following the service Lisa Ezzard and Charlotte Starfire conducted a wonderful ceremony to dedicate the Spirit of Wayfarers, followed by delicious food, drinks and sweets of all kinds. There were craft tables for rock painting and prayer flags. Memorabilia was on display in RoseMary's Chapel. Games were played under the deck and the day was rounded off with a Concert on the Deck by the Loose Shoes Duo.
