ANOTHER BIG WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - May 10th)

This week our host will be Marie Dunkle and we will be treated to the soothing sounds of Crowe Capps on guitar. Our message will be delivered by Dr Deana Brooksher.

THIS WEEK

WRITERS GROUP (5:30 PM, Tuesday, May 5th)

The Writers Group is a gathering of people of all writing types, styles and abilities who meet each week to share their craft and give feedback to each other. Everyone with an interest is encouraged to attend whether you've never written before or have years of experience.

MEDITATION GROUP (9 AM, Sunday, May 10th)

Our volunteer meditation team has kicked off a new schedule for our weekly group meditation.  This Sunday, meditation will be led by Charlotte Starfire in Rosemary's Chapel from 9:00 - 9:30.  Please quietly enter the small chapel, and join us!

A BIG THANKS

A huge Thank You goes to Barney and Sherry Spurr and Charles Craig for taking the time to power wash and stain the deck around the chapel and the rails and seating. The deck will be much safer with the removal of the slippery surface and it looks fabulous!

We also owe a debt of gratitude to Linda Pupke who has single handedly added hundreds of rocks to the Meditation Garden, by the stream and up near our main chapel. If you haven't taken a minute to walk down to the Meditation Garden, please do. It's beautiful!

COMING SOON

REIKI (4 - 6 PM Wednesday, May 20th)

Reiki is a gentle healing art to aid body, mind, and spirit and is used in more than 800 hospitals and clinics in the US as part of their complementary and alternative medicine treatments. Sessions at Wayfarers are provided by experienced practitioners and typically last 10-15 minutes. These "first come - first served" sessions are free and everyone is welcome. Donations to support the chapel are welcome.

BLUE JAZZ TRIO CONCERT (2 - 4 PM Sunday, May 24th)

The Trio will perform Sunday, May 24, from 2-4 pm in the dappled shade of the Wayfarers' deck overlooking the beautiful Estatoah Creek. In the event of rain, the show will move inside. Admission is free but donations are sincerely appreciated.

LAST WEEK

Garnet was our host and talked a lot about love. We expect nothing less. Charlie Simmons played wonderful songs for us; some that touched our hearts and some that had our toes tapping. Marie Dunkle gave a wonderful talk about the importance of friendship.

If you want to catch up on any talks that you may have missed, you can find them by clicking the Sunday Talks link on our webpage.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
