COMING UP THIS WEEK

WRITERS GROUP (5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26th)

Come and put your thoughts on a page! The Writers Group is a gathering of people of all writing types, styles and abilities. Everyone with an interest is encouraged to attend. 

MEDITATION GROUP (9-9:30 AM, Sunday, May 31st)

This short meditation is a great way to start the day!

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - May 31st)

This Sunday is music by Jeff Wilson and Marie Dunkle. Our message, "Reclaiming Your Divinity - The Return to the Now", is by Sonjan.

BOARD MEETING (June 7th)

The Wayfarers Board of Directors will meet June 7th immediately following the 40th Anniversary Celebration planning meeting. All Wayfarers are welcome to attend.


CICADA RHYTHM CONCERT (2 - 4 PM Sunday, June 28th)

Cicada Rhythm's blend of guitar, upright bass, and smooth vocals with covers and originals is always a great way to enjoy the afternoon on the deck at Wayfarers. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the chapel. Admission is free. Donations to support the musicians are greatly appreciated.

PARKING

Parking is snug when we have a full house, so all parking is nose-in (or tail-end, if that's your preference) except for parking on the roadside before the chapel and one space on the left side of the lower lot facing the stairs. Thanks!

TIME TO CELEBRATE

WAYFARERS 40th ANNIVERSARY

Wayfarers 40th anniversary will be celebrated the weekend of September 12-13. The board is very grateful for the ideas and support already flowing. The next meeting to organize the event weekend will be June 7th after chapel. This is a potluck Sunday so lunch will be included.  We will be creating small groups to help organize the various components of the celebration including Peace pole, Food, Saturday activities, and Sunday plans. Feel free to let any board member know of your interest to help and any ideas for the celebration. We look forward to creating a joyful meaningful time together. 

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Last Sunday we were treated to music by Marie Dunkle and Delphine Rivers Kirkland. Then Rev. Jamie Sanders shared the message "Have I Nodded Off?" Jamie's message - and other talks you may have missed - are available online.

 

In the afternoon, the rain kept us inside, but that didn't slow us down. Blue Jazz had everyone up and dancing!
