THIS WEEK

MEDITATION GROUP (5-6 PM, Monday, March 23)

The meditation group meets in RoseMary's Chapel and is suitable for all experience levels.  Each week is led by a different person so the meditation style and focus changes. This week's meditation is a about expression with focus on the 5th chakra, and will incorporate relaxation, mantra, visualization, and breathing. Please arrive quietly in preparation.

WRITERS GROUP (5-6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 24)

The writers group is the perfect environment in which to be inspired and hone your writing skills. All genres and all experience levels welcome. The group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - Mar 29)

Ruth Henry is our musician this week and Kim May returns with a reminder that we are the bridge between "The All the IS" and our beloved plant Earth. Please stay for coffee, treats, and fellowship after the service.

EASTER HERB PLANTING

April 5th

In celebration of Easter and Spring, we will gather in community on the deck to plant seeds of a dozen or so herbs such as Parsley, Lemon Balm, Mint, Dill, Sage, Thyme, Chives, Cilantro, Calendula, German Chamomile, Bee Balm, Meadowsweet, and Lavender. While all are flowering, some of these Herbs are medicinal and others more culinary. We will plant the seeds together, nurture their growth through the spring, and then enjoy their beauty, scents, and flavors.

All Wayfarers are invited to participate in this planting which will be on the deck after the Easter service.

We will be providing seeds, herb markers, and organic potting soil. But we need pots and hope that many of you will donate a pot for this use. Pots should be SHORT so that potting soil is not wasted. Examples of ideal-sized pots are now on the chapel deck, so take a look.

Please bring your family pot next Sunday so we might prep it in advance for planting. Your pot need not be new, but should be in good shape and, if possible, include a container or saucer to hold water underneath.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

DRUM CIRCLE (6-8 PM, Wednesday, April 1)

Get ready for a whole lot of fun 'cause April 1st is a Full Moon Drum Circle and the weather forecast looks like we will be outside on the deck. Wahoo! Always inspiring to be on the deck surrounded by trees and listening to the gentle sound of the Estatoah creek.

This is your chance to laugh, smile, and let the rhythm take you. Bring your own drum or use one of ours. Or maybe check out our collection of percussion instruments. Try one. Try them all. It's up to you!

This session is great for beginners and seasoned players alike. Tell you friends. The event is free and everyone is welcome.

ROBERTO OBREGON (2-4 PM, Sunday, April 12)

World class guitarist, singer, and composer ROBERTO OBREGON will perform Sunday, April 12, from 2-4 pm in the dappled shade of the Wayfarers deck overlooking the beautiful Estatoah Creek.

Obregon offers a special blend of classic Latin, jazz, pop, and Blues. From his silky and soulful Blues tones to textured Bolero and raspy wails of Flamenco, Obregon gives it up in a big way. Be sure to add April 12 to your calendar.

Admission is by your generous donations. Refreshments available. Wayfarers Chapel is located at 182 Wayfarer Lane, Dillard, GA. In the event of rain, the show will move inside.

THE READING ROOM (6:30 PM, Friday, April 17)

This is your chance to experience the amazing talents of our writers as members of the Wayfarers Writers Group publicly read selected works. This "full house" event is held in the main chapel. Refreshments will be served.
