SUMMER CONCERT SERIES BEGINS !

ROBERTO OBREGON (2-4 PM, Sunday, April 12)

World class guitarist, singer, and composer ROBERTO OBREGON will perform Sunday, April 12, from 2-4 pm in the dappled shade of the Wayfarers deck overlooking the beautiful Estatoah Creek.

Obregon offers a special blend of classic Latin, jazz, pop, and Blues. From his silky and soulful Blues tones to textured Bolero and raspy wails of Flamenco, Obregon gives it up in a big way. Be sure to add April 12 to your calendar.

Admission is by your generous donations. Refreshments available. Wayfarers Chapel is located at 182 Wayfarer Lane, Dillard, GA. In the event of rain, the show will move inside.

THE WRITERS GROUP "READS"

THE READING ROOM (6:30 PM, Friday, April 17)

This is your chance to experience the amazing talents of our writers as members of the Wayfarers Writers Group publicly read selected works. This "full house" event is held in the main chapel. Refreshments will be served.

THIS WEEK

MEDITATION GROUP (5-6 PM, Monday, March 16)

The meditation group meets in RoseMary's Chapel and is suitable for all experience levels.  Each week is led by a different person so the meditation style and focus changes. This week is a gentle meditation to get you in touch wth your true nature. Please arrive quietly in preparation.

WRITERS GROUP (5-6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 17)

The writers group is the perfect environment in which to be inspired and hone your writing skills. All genres and all experience levels welcome. The group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

REIKI (4-6 PM, Wednesday, March 18)

Reiki is a gentle healing art to aid body, mind, and spirit and is used in more than 800 hospitals and clinics in the US as part of their complementary and alternative medicine treatments. Sessions at Wayfarers are provided by experienced practitioners and typically last 10-15 minutes. These "first come - first served" sessions are free and everyone is welcome. Donations to support the chapel are welcome.

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - Mar 22)

This coming Sunday, Katharine Brown, Lisa Ezzard, and Chris Casses will share music in honor of International Water Day, and Ruth Henry will explore The Science and Practice of Gratitude. Please stay for coffee, treats, and fellowship after the service.

LAST WEEK

From the lenten roses and trillium near the labyrinth to the daffodils in front of the chapel, the first signs of spring have begun. A big THANK YOU to the Opelske team for tidying up the grounds this past week.

With a nod to St. Patrick's Day, Marie Dunkle and Sandi Craig shared celtic music and Anne Kirslis shared a message about the spirituality of Ireland this past Sunday.

Music and messages from 3/8 and 3/15 will be available online later this week.

MISSING SOMETHING ?

This mug was left on the back counter in the main chapel. We ditched the coffee, but the mug is ready to return home!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

"Gratitude and attitude are not challenges; they are choices."

— Robert Braathe

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.

It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend."

— Melody Beattie
