THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITIES

WRITER'S GROUP (Tuesday 5-6:30 PM - September 1st)

If you write stories, poems or journal, this is the place for you. Join this group of talented and supportive writers. No experience necessary.


SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - September 6th)

Delphine Rivers will provide our music and Mark Frank will deliver the message "The Light of God Surrounds Us". Pot Luck is directly following the service. Please stay for something to eat, to meet new friends and visit with old ones.

BOARD NOMINATIONS

Our Board is still looking for anyone interested in serving. If you are interested or know someone who is, please contact one of the current Board members (contact information near the bottom of this newsletter).

MEDITATION

If you would like to learn more about the practice of meditation, please get in touch with Marie Dunkle or Charlotte Starfire. They are considering offering a meditation class(es) and are looking for input and interested participants.

SAVE THE DATE

MEDITATION (Monday 5:30-6:30 September 7th)

The first Monday evening of the month a group meets in RoseMary's Chapel for an hour of quiet meditation. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

40th ANNIVERSARY (September 12th and 13th)

Join us Saturday and Sunday for a number of fun and meaningful events as we celebrate 40 years at Wayfarers Chapel. You don't want to miss it! Keep in mind that parking at the chapel is limited and car pooling is appreciated.

LOOSE SHOES DUO (Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 September 13th)

Don't miss the last deck concert of the season with The Loose Shoes Duo, featuring founding members Ric and Pam Cushenan, who have been performing vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar arrangements together since 2001. Pam brings a rich background in gospel, rock, blues, and folk singing, while Ric contributes guitar and vocals.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Celena Brown was our host, Abe, Beth and Ella Loveland brought us their special sound including a couple of their originals and Kim May delivered her message "Focus and Clarity" with as much passion and enthusiasm as she always does.  Past Sunday Talks can be found here.
