The MOTT Million Dollar Challenge is proud to announce that 1,500 submissions have been selected as first-round winners - each will receive a $250 award. VPOST is excited to share that Virginia had 24 winners in this national competition!

More than 5,300 K-12 students from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., submitted to the MOTT Million Dollar Challenge and stepped up to pitch ideas for new businesses and social solutions. Together, these ideas reflect the creativity, leadership, and bold thinking young people bring when given the opportunity to explore, create, and lead.

Behind each submission is a powerful support system. Thousands of educators helped students brainstorm, refine, and share their ideas, building skills that extend far beyond the competition.

Next up: Round 2 judging and the path to a national event in Flint, Michigan, this June.
