We Are So Grateful!
Construction Update
We received some very good news from our first grout strength test last week. At just six days, the structural grout in the stem walls had already exceeded the required strength—well ahead of the curing time that was originally anticipated. That shortened curing period was a welcome blessing and means we can begin moving into the next phase sooner than expected. Interestingly, it seems that all of the consistent rain that has caused us so many delays may actually have been helpful during the curing process!

With that good news, our team has been working quickly to coordinate the work that comes next. This week, we reached an agreement with an equipment owner-operator who will help bring in, place, and compact the fill dirt inside the building footprint. Once that work begins, the site should start looking very different!

Meanwhile, our utilities contractor has now completed the majority of the underground stormwater and roof drainage piping required for the project.

Oh yeah, the pic above is the new sanctuary. It'll be a bit easier to visualize when it has our comfortable green theater seats installed!

Our beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - What I Know
Highlights:

Inspired by lyrics to "This Is What I Know" by Jan Garrett:

This is what I know: That we are all connected, the universe reflected in each shining part.

God is nearer than my breathing, closer than hands and feet.

And so I receive all I can be. And so it is, and so be it.

When I speak it, I can see it.... And so we begin…. Amen, amen, amen!

*Leddy's sister Lyla, had a little fun with AI and created a Leddy Doll, Click the pic to see a larger version.
Lydia had some fun this past Sunday showing off the five "gold" stars that Leddy sent for her and Rev. Carol. We missed getting a pic of Carol, but caught up to Lydia and got a good one.

Thanks for playing along Lydia!
The Reverend Carol Record, our Minister of Unity Studies, delivered a beautiful and powerful Truth lesson last Sunday (on sort notice!) on how we can be a "No Complaint Department."   Rev Leddy enjoyed the service online and urges us to watch that great service again!
Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!!
After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!

For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.

Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

A big thanks to Deanna for helping make this possible!
Last Sunday's Shining Words:

”Do not complain .... You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord” (James 5:7-11).

I know that God's will for me is good and only good. So, I have no complaints, whatsoever!

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Healing Thought # 333
"The reason we should never be discouraged is, first of all, knowing that there is a Being that we call God, or the Master Mind, and that we are always in unity, or oneness, with that Mind. And, at any moment, at any time, under any circumstances, we have a pipeline that enables us to get into conscious contact with Divine Mind. When we are quiet in prayer, we come to that moment when we know that God speaks to us – not necessarily in words, but in very clear inner knowing. Then the discouragement goes away and we are truly at peace" (Eric Butterworth, Sunday Lessons at Unity of NYC, ca 1975).
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

"I KNOW AND I KNOW THAT I KNOW, THAT GOD IS THE ONLY PRESENCE AND POWER IN THE UNIVERSE AND IN MY LIFE."
