Construction Update
Although this week's progress may not be as visible, there's plenty of important activity taking place behind the scenes as we prepare for the next phase of construction.

The newly grouted stem walls are currently curing, an essential process that allows the foundation to gain the strength needed before fill dirt can be brought in and compacted inside the building footprint. This week, the first break test will be performed on the grout samples, giving the project team an early indication of how the curing process is progressing. We're hopeful the required strength will be reached well before the 28-day maximum curing period.

While the walls cure, work continues across the site. This week crews are completing general site cleanup, interviews are underway with equipment owner-operators who will help bring in and compact the fill dirt, and an on-site coordination meeting with the architect and project team is scheduled to prepare for the upcoming phases of construction. In addition, our fire suppression contractor will be performing a flush and pressure test on the fire hydrant to verify that the fire protection water supply is ready for future work.

Every project has seasons when much of the progress happens behind the scenes. By taking care of these important details now, we'll be ready to move quickly into the next phase as soon as the foundation has reached the required strength.

Our beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - The No Complaints Dept
Highlights:

Inspired by lyrics from "No Complaints Whatsoever" by JD Martin

I have no complaints, because I know that God knows what I am going through, and is bringing me through this to a better place.

I am not bitter; I know that God knows what is best for me, so my outlook is fresh and my outcomes are satisfying.

I have moved out of the prison of complaining to the freedom of praising, for I know that God is so good to me.

I am patient.  I know that God’s will for me is good and only good.  So, I have no complaints, whatsoever!

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!!
After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!

For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.

Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

A big thanks to Deanna for helping make this possible!
Last Sunday's Shining Words:

"God looked at everything he had made, and found it very good" (Genesis 1:28).

It's all the same stuff and we can rearrange it anyway we want.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Healing Thought # 332
"A characteristic of the person who is most needed and desired in business or social life is agreeableness. Inefficiency .... can often be overlooked or excused when the individual is agreeable, pleasant in [one's] dealings with others, always considerate .... Business firms often pay large salaries to men or women who can meet the complaining public with a disposition that smooths wrinkled brows and brushes aside difficulties .... The [one who] is agreeable ... is never lacking in friends and invitations.... Men and women find themselves in difficult human experiences, often with vexing little problems to be solved, often needing just a word of cheer or friendly contact. The individual who can pass over another's shortcomings without appearing to see them always merits recognition for the qualities of higher intelligence, culture, and grace. The person who is agreeable and who makes others feel easy in his [or her] presence shows quite a soul development .... Every situation, regardless of its nature, can be handled agreeably .... We can easily see that Truth will prompt us to be more loving and that, through love, whatever makes for disagreements and disagreeableness will be overcome. When we consider that others have problems for solution, we shall not try to add to the weight of their burden by being unkind to them. We shall try to ease the load by speaking words of love prompted by thoughts of Truth" (Frank B. Whitney, first Editor of Daily Word, in Be of Good Courage, 1953).
