 | This week's construction update is a short one, but not an insignificant one!
At the beginning of the week, the masonry crew was on site to verify some additional measurements and information needed to complete the stem walls. Rainy weather aside, and with assistance from the project surveyor, they were able to get everything they needed.
The masons will be back at work on Wednesday with the goal of completing the stem walls around the building by the end of the week. As you can see in the photo above, the foundation of our new church home is becoming more visible with each new course of block. We're looking forward to seeing this important phase of the project completed and continuing our progress toward the next stage of construction.
Meanwhile, our site and utility contractor, West Coast Underground, will be back on site continuing the installation of the underground stormwater system. This extensive network of piping will manage rainwater runoff from the building and surrounding property and is another important piece of the infrastructure being put in place throughout the site.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Deeper |
|
Highlights:
Lyrics to "Deeper" by Sue Riley and Judy Kass
Swept away from all I've known, light years from my comfort zone …. Changing rules, shifting tides that ebb and flow as tears subside, Hard to know how to be till I hear the voice inside of me.
I'll flow like the river that runs deeper than these troubles, wilder than the tempest of trouble I'm in.
Every life, has dark and light, shades of gray, bursts of white. They each pass like clouds of dust. Healing journeys can't be rushed. Take a breath, deep and slow, drawing strength from what I know.
I'll swim cleansing waters, let the tide take me to where trouble meets the ever changing wind. |

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!! |
|
After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!
For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.
Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.
A big thanks to Deanna for helping make this possible! |

Last Sunday's Shining Words:
"See, I am doing something new!" (Isaiah 43:19-19)
The way to start again is the courage to begin. |

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

"God is not a person to pray to, but perhaps a process or a consciousness, as I say so often, to pray from. The need is to know that we are in this activity of God, which is the whole of things. We need to relax and let go.... Just be still and let it happen. As Plotinus says, 'Let the whole universe rush and stream and pour into you from all sides while you just stand quiet. Just relax. Just be still, and become receptive.' This essentially, is the heart and soul of meditation as has been taught East and West" (Unity author and speaker, Eric Butterworth, Unity of NYC, ca 1975). |
|
|
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY BEING, WHERE ALL IS STILLNESS AND PEACE, I STAND QUIET AND RECEPTIVE."
THANK YOU, GOD! |
