Dear praying friends,

It’s only 6 1/2 weeks until our January 8 departure back to Budapest, Hungary. Thank you for being part of this ministry through your prayers and donations. Here’s what we will be working on back in Budapest:

GOAL: Translate 50 key Bible stories & chapters of the Bible into 4
Roma dialects

COST: $50,000

COST INCLUDES:

• training Roma translators through workshops and training manuals
• providing them with books and computer tools they need
• paying them for each page they translate
• having the translation tested by distributing it to other mother-tongue speakers of that language and gathering their feedback
• producing the translation electronically, and
• printing it and distributing it to those who speak that dialect.

If you would like to help, please donate to Pioneers for project #150786 Roma Bible Society (see information below).

At first, $50,000 sounds like a lot of money. But look at the infographic below to see how little it really is, not only in the grand scheme of what is still needed to complete the task of Bible translation around the world, but also how miniscule it is in comparison to what Americans spend on movies, coffee and hamburgers!

It has been a joy to be in the States during these last several months. Thank you for your warm hospitality, encouraging words and gracious support. There is no way we could do this without you!
