Pray that the "word of the Lord may spread rapidly"!
|
|
A great Bible verse to pray is 2 Thessalonians 3:1 for those of us ministering to the Roma (Gypsies) in Europe, “Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you; and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith.”
Our passion is that the Bible will be translated into the languages of the Roma (Gypsies) of Europe and "spread rapidly" among them.
Please pray for the Lord's enabling to see this happen and also for the remaining $46,000 (of the total $50,000 project) still lacking for the first stages of Bible translation in four Roma dialects. These funds help provide training for Roma who want to translate the Bible, pay them for each page they translate, and fund the process of checking the drafts, making corrections and eventually printing and distributing copies to those who speak the language.

| Please pray for the Hungarian Munteon Bayash Roma, that God will prepare their hearts to receive His Word as we prepare to print a booklet with five passages from Luke. Pray that His Word will "spread rapidly and be glorified" among these Roma.

| December 1, "Giving Tuesday"
|

|
| After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, comes Giving Tuesday, December 1, a day to celebrate generosity and to give. Please pray that the Lord will provide the $46,000 still needed to meet the immediate need for Bible translation work in for Roma dialects. The countdown has begun; #GivingTuesday is just 11 days away.

Please pray for time, wisdom and strength packing for our return to Hungary January 8. There is much to do to prepare for our return to Budapest. We also will be speaking at four more churches in Kansas City and in Iowa.

Please also pray for:
* Our Roma colleagues, Djeno & Biljana, who are working hard and spending many hours ministering to Syrian and other Middle East refugees who are stuck in Croatia.
* Our missionary colleagues, Zeljka, Sergej, Andy and Lim, in NE Croatia to be able to find a house to rent in the Slavonski Brod village as a place to have homework help classes, children's Bible clubs and Bible studies.
* These same missionary colleagues as they work on editing, improving and adding new children's, tweens' and teens' Bible stories and Bible study curricula.
