At Spencer Hospital, we care deeply about the well-being of our community, both physically and mentally. Each May, we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year, the importance of mental health feels especially personal while our community continues to heal from last year's devastating floods.
While physical recovery may be underway, the emotional impact lingers for many. Stress, anxiety, grief, and even feelings of hopelessness are common and valid responses to traumatic events. Mental Health Awareness Month gives us a chance to remind everyone: It’s OK to talk about mental health. You are not alone. |
