Spencer Hospital & Clinics Transitioning to New Electronic Health Record - May 30

Beginning May 30, Spencer Hospital is transitioning to a new electronic health record system called Epic MyChart. This new platform provides patients with a secure and convenient way to access their health information online, allowing them to view medical records anytime from a computer or mobile device.

The new system connects patients to records from Spencer Hospital and affiliated clinics, as well as other locations and healthcare facilities using Epic MyChart. Participating locations include Avera Medical Group Spencer, Hartley Family Care, Milford Family Care, Northwest Iowa Ear, Nose & Throat, Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint & Sports Surgeons, Northwest Iowa Surgeons, Sioux Rapids Family Care, Avera McKennan, and additional Avera specialty clinics and facilities.

Through MyChart, patients can view test results, manage appointments, review discharge instructions and provider notes, update personal information, and securely share access with family members or caregivers when needed.

Patients will be able to sign up for Epic MyChart on our website by following the link below, or by downloading the mobile app available in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
