Join Us for Abben Cancer Center's Survivors Day Event

Join us for Abben Cancer Center's Survivors Day Event on Wednesday, June 5th at 6:30 PM at the Spencer Community Theatre. Anyone is welcome to attend! Joining us will be guest speaker, Desi Payne, presenting "The Incredible Power of Laughter."

The power of laughter can be healing for patients, families, caregivers, and friends. We all know someone who has been touched by cancer. This event will be an opportunity to connect with others, celebrate milestones, and recognize those supporters who have been there along the way.

Annual Garden of Life Planting

It was a beautiful evening earlier this week at our annual Garden of Life planting. Each planted flower represented a gift to the Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation to benefit our patients. Gifts were given in memory of loved ones or in honor of special individuals. Thank you so much to our wonderful donors and their generosity in supporting this annual giving event.

Two Spencer Hospital Nurses Recognized as 2024 Great Iowa Nurses

Two of Spencer Hospital's very own nurses, Angel Smith of Clay County Public Health and Jerrica Walling of ICU, were among 108 nurses across the state of Iowa who were recognized as 2024 Great Iowa Nurses honorees!

Local Students Participate in Healthcare Career Fair

Spencer Hospital recently hosted a healthcare career fair for high school students from Pocahontas and Sioux Central schools. Students could visit with Spencer Hospital staff from various departments to learn more about healthcare-related careers.
