Volunteer Health Insurance Counselors Needed for Clay County

Want to make a difference? The State of Iowa Insurance Division is looking for SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) counselors to serve our region. Trained Iowa SHIIP volunteers assist Iowans in understanding their Medicare benefits and options through individual counseling sessions, community education, special projects, and making connections in their communities. Annual Garden of Life Scheduled for May in Hospital Grand Avenue Park

Community members are invited to join the annual Garden of Life planting in Spencer Hospital's Grand Avenue Park. Each donation for the Garden of Life campaign is given to the Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special caregiver will be represented by a blooming plant.

Join Us for Diabetes Support Group

Join us for Diabetes Support Group on Tuesday, May 7th at 4:30 PM at Spencer Hospital! This group will offer a wonderful opportunity to learn from professionals and from each other as we discuss experiences and share solutions. This support group is for anyone who has diabetes, pre-diabetes, or has a loved one with diabetes.
