| New Warner Dialysis Center of Spencer Hospital Set to Open |
|
| For more than 20 years, people in need of life-sustaining dialysis treatments have been able to receive care at the Warner Dialysis Center of Spencer Hospital, located within the hospital. In July, patients will transfer to a newly renovated facility located at 1721 West 18th Street, designed to meet the growing demand for services and to provide more convenient access to care.

| Spencer Hospital Honorable Mentioned in 'Give Back' Challenge |

| Spencer Hospital employees logged nearly 2,300 volunteer hours during the months of April and May, earning the hospital honorable mention - basically second place – in the medium-size business category for Volunteer Iowa’s 4th annual Give Back Iowa Challenge. The campaign objective is for businesses to encourage their employees to volunteer and log their hours as part of an eight-week challenge offered across the state of Iowa.

| Abben Golf Classic Planned for Sunday, August 26th |

Providing an opportunity for fun, fellowship and philanthropy, the Abben Cancer Center Golf Classic will take place at Emerald Hills Golf Club on Sunday, Aug. 26. Currently, committee members who represent a number of communities in the region are seeking sponsors, auction items and golfers.

Spencer Hospital hosted the bi-annual Experience Medicine day camp earlier this month. Middle school students had the opportunity to learn more about healthcare career options and hospital services through interactive educational sessions. Experience Medicine is offered through a partnership with Clay County Extension.
