Botox May Provide Relief for Chronic Headaches

Is your head pounding...again? If you suffer from chronic headaches, you may be a candidate for Botox injections to help prevent headaches before they start. Family medicine physician, Dr. David Keith, sought additional training to become certified in providing relief from chronic headaches using Botox, as has physician assistant Jason Zinnel. Jason and Dr. Keith recommend patients visit their family practitioner to determine if Botox injections are a viable treatment. If appropriate, your provider will refer you on for possible Botox treatments.

Eating Mindfully for Brain Health

Our brains serve as the command center for our bodies, controlling our thoughts, speech, emotions, memories, judgment, body movements, digestion, and breathing. Too often, we take our brains for grants. To keep your brain healthy, it needs exercise, both physical and mental, and your brain also needs rest and a good diet.

Spencer Hospital's Registered Dietitian, Darlene DeWitt, focuses on healthy eating for your brain and an introduction to the MIND diet in her latest blog.
