Spencer Hospital to Open Hartley Family Care

The family medicine clinic located within Hartley's Community Memorial Health Center will transfer operations from MercyOne to Spencer Hospital later this summer. The clinic will be named Hartley Family Care of Spencer Hospital and be managed by Spencer Hospital in collaboration with Avera Medical Group Spencer (AMGS).

Billings to Serve as Hartley Family Care Provider

Jamie Billings, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, will serve as the primary healthcare provider for the newly established Hartley Family Care of Spencer Hospital, which will open later this summer.

2022 Abben Golf Classic: Drive Away Cancer

For seventeen years now, the Abben Golf Classic has been the premier event at the Emerald Hills golf course in Okoboji on the last Sunday of August.


All proceeds help to benefit our patients and families that utilize the Abben Cancer Center.


Over the years, we have been fortunate to have great support from citizens, organizations and businesses within our community and surrounding areas, as well as our vendors. This event is a day filled with fun, fellowship, food, auction items and of course golf – all for a great cause!
