Most people assume leadership coaching is about becoming better at managing people, navigating politics, or driving performance at work.


And absolutely those things matter.


But the work of leadership starts somewhere else.


It starts with you.


Over the years I’ve worked with many senior leaders who are amazing at their jobs. Highly experienced. Trusted. Ambitious. Those the organisation relies on when things get tough.


And yet behind that success is often something a lot quieter.


They’re tired of the grind.


They can’t switch off.


Their mind is still running through problems at 10pm.


They’ve become over-responsible for things outside their control while the parts of life that matter most - health, relationships, creativity, stillness - are continually de-prioritised.


Leadership coaching with me looks at the whole person, not just the professional role.

Because the way you lead at work is deeply connected to the way you lead yourself in life.

  • Are you carrying responsibility for everyone else but neglecting your own wellbeing?

  • Avoiding tough conversations at work and carrying the frustration home?

These things don’t live in separate boxes.


None of us are robots who can perfectly compartmentalise our lives. I’ve never met anyone who has managed that well - though I’ve met plenty who’ve tried.


The work we do in coaching is about integrating the different parts of you into one aligned leader - someone who trusts themselves, speaks honestly, holds boundaries and leads with calm rather than constant pressure.


Sometimes that means we talk about strategy and influence.


Sometimes we talk about sleep, energy, relationships, or the courage to say no.


Because the goal isn’t just professional success.


It’s building a life where your leadership actually feels sustainable - where your value isn’t measured by how hard you grind, but by the clarity, confidence and outcomes you bring.
