Hey Friend,
I hope all is well.
I got a facebook message the other day from a guy who wanted to know what my Fit Dad Formula program was all about. Specifically, he saw that I mentioned that there was no calorie counting and no keeping track of your macros. He was really surprised because he said that all he sees or hears about, when it comes to losing weight, is how impoartant those things are.
Yes, I said, that is definitely the case.
And it's really a shame.
I think it's part of the reason as to why so many people are overweight. But there are many other reasons too.
Who really has time, or even wants to, count calories, track macros, weigh their food on a food scale, etc.????
That sounds awful to me, and is absolutely not something that can be done all the time. Think about when going out to eat, or going to a friend's house for dinner or going to a BBQ or on vacation.
I can't imagine doing any calorie counting or food weighing in those situations.
Those are a few of many things that we DON'T do in my Fit Dad Formula program. And of course, there are things that we do do.
I've come to realize, over the alst 10 years or so, that what I recommend is pretty much the opposite of what the 'fitness' industry preaches. In fact, it could be considered ANTI-INDUSTRY.
Take a look:
How The Fit Dad Formula Process is Different (Anti-Industry):
"Everything the fitness industry told you is BACKWARDS for busy dads"
They Tell You:
❌ Count every calorie (who has time?)
❌ Meal prep Sundays (there goes family time)
❌ No carbs/No beer (unrealistic)
❌ 6 small meals a day (impossible with work)
❌ Eat 'special' foods that no one else eats (2 different dinners)
❌ Restrict, restrict, restrict
Strategic Fasting - The Anti-Diet:
✅ Eat BIGGER meals (stay satisfied longer)
✅ SKIP breakfast (more morning time with kids)
✅ Drink beer in your eating window (guilt-free)
✅ Eat the same as your family (no special foods to buy)
✅ Flexible weekends (birthday parties, BBQs included)
✅ Eat MORE to weigh LESS (timing > restriction)
Not only have I realized that this is far simpler to do, especially for busy dads, but I guarantee that this is healthier and more sustainable than any other program out there. Especially the ones that these bodybuilder trainers are recommending (calorie counting, macro tracking, weighing your food, etc.)
I've condensed all of my knowledge over 25 years, all of my research and testing into a 90 day program, along with other important tips and tricks that will help you shed 25-35 lbs in 90 days or less.
It's called my Fit Dad Formula program and It's what every busy dad with a busy work schedule and family obligations needs in order to lose weight without turning their life upside down.
