Protests are ongoing outside of the Eugene Federal Building (downtown on 7th Avenue), where federal law enforcement responded to demonstrators. Multiple people have been detained, others were injured via the use of non-lethal munitions. Protesters gathered to honor a victim of a recent federal shooting and oppose ICE actions amid heightened national tensions.
