I've been hearing all these stories about AI lately.
People worried about how AI is going to take over.
People getting attached to AI, thinking of it almost like a friend (or maybe even more).
People saying AI is making us "dumber."
Stories about copying other people's work.
Etc. etc. etc.
There are so many opinions out there, and I'm not saying any of them are right or wrong.
I'll just give you mine:
AI is a tool. Just like a hammer.
You can use that tool to build things or destroy things.
It just depends on how you use the tool.
I think it's one of the biggest changes—if not the biggest change—in our lifetime.
However, it just depends on how we use it.
If we use it as a tool, it can give us more time.
More time for our passions. Our family. Our loved ones. Our friends.
More time for building things we actually care about.
Here's what I find interesting:
I don't think anyone would say going to a job in a cubicle from 8-5 every day is the life we're supposed to live.
Or that scrolling on social media 6 hours a day is healthy.
Or that watching TV for 4 hours a day is the ideal lifestyle.
Yet people fall into these routines anyway.
So it doesn't matter what we create or what technology exists.
It depends on the actions you take and living your life deliberately.
I use AI to build tools like Curavera.
But the real power isn't in the AI itself.
It's in being deliberate with your actions and mindful in everything you do.
AI can give you back hours of your day.
But what you do with those hours? That's up to you.
You can use them to scroll more, watch more, consume more.
Or you can use them to build, create, connect, and grow.
The tool doesn't determine the outcome.
Your intentionality does.
So the question isn't "Is AI good or bad?"
The question is: "How are you choosing to live?"

P.S. Whether you use AI or not, the daily wellness check-in in Curavera can help you stay deliberate about how you're actually spending your time and energy. Sometimes that awareness is all it takes to make better choices.
