Welcome to Day 6 of the Rise Of You Challenge!
We are so excited to have you here. You are AWESOME for making yourself a priority!
Are you ready to roll? Cool, let’s get started.
It's
likely safe to guess that sitting in front of a screen all day at work
and in front of the TV at night isn't doing much for your health or
confidence. A sedentary lifestyle, does little to raise your fitness
level, your energy, your self-confidence or your general sense of
well-being. However looking great, feeling strong and having a positive
attitude, the properties of self-esteem, are all some of the great
things you get with regular physical and mental exercise.
You'll find the video here: https://scienceofimagery.clickfunnels.com/7-day-challenge-day-6
Half
an hour of moderate aerobics is enough to release the beta-endorphins
that increase feelings of well-being, and to lower levels of cortisol,
the hormone associated with stress and anxiousness.
So you see, you don't have to do hours of exercise to have that feeling of well-being, which in turn boosts your confidence.
Yoga,
meditation, tai chi and qigong reduce stress, anxiety, depression and
anger and improve psychological functioning. A yoga practice lowers
levels of cortisol and adrenaline, and helps to govern blood glucose,
blood pressure, insulin resistance and the "food seeking behavior"
inspired by tension that leads to weight gain and more abdominal fat.
Being overweight can lead to decreased confidence. Meditation stimulates
the prefrontal cortex that regulates happiness levels and sound immune
function. As part of your physical exercise , along with the exercise in
the video, use this little technique.
Sit on a cushion and focus
on your breathing, stretch up to the ceiling and breathe in deeply, or
rest in Corpse or Child pose, and you'll calm yourself, release stress,
and improve coordination, quicken reactions, and better IQ and memory.
You'll even sleep better and regulate your emotions, leading to better
social interactions and a positive self-image.
Just these very
small things can have a big impact on your life. If I use physical and
mental exercise during the day and I seem to have a much better day.
This
easy exercise can help you change your thoughts and energy very
quickly, So the next time you find yourself having negative thoughts
and doubting yourself, try using this exercise and see what type of
results you get.
So much of our self-confidence lies in our
ability to manage out emotional state, trust and our focus. So try this
exercise on a daily basis if you can.
**To-do: **
Trusting Yourself Exercise:
Take some time to think about the agreements you have made with yourself and others.
Often, it's easier to make them than keep them. When you break these
agreements for whatever reason, your self-esteem and trust in yourself
suffers. - Make only agreements that you plan to keep.
- Write them down.
- Honor them and renegotiate them when necessary.
Are you keeping and honoring your agreements?
So try incorporating physical and mental exercise (the trust exercise) into your daily life. It will make a world of difference.
Don't
forget to write down your steps in your success log and share your
feeling, comments or questions about this step in the group. :-)
