Whenever we are in our head, we are not in the present moment.

This may seem backward, but if we are thinking about something, we are not 100% in the present moment.

I know for most of the day, whether we are at work or at home, we need to be thinking about what we are working on.

However, if we are always in our head, we are missing out on so much.

Being in the present is a mixture of attention and feeling.

But first we must be able to calm our mind.

There are many exercises to do this, but I have always found that listening to different binaural beats and other audio meditations can help you clear your mind quickly and easily.
