Below: Our third graduation for the Diploma in Christian Counseling, held in Santo Domingo December 6 with 69 graduates. |
| | Santiago Theological Seminary - Praise God for answering prayer in our progress towards offering certification for our biblical counseling graduates partnering with Association of Biblical Counselors in the USA.
- Praise God we have over 60 students in our new two-year 12 course Diploma in Theology. Students testify to how excited they are for the new things they are learning, even from Argentina.
- Pray for our preparations for a Biblical Counseling Conference in Santo Domingo August 21-22, 2026, including Ed Welch, Brad Hambrick, Beth Broom, and Miguel Nunez. We are praying for 2,000 to attend. This would be a good time for you to visit our seminary. The messages will be in English/Spanish.
- Praise God as he directs a new missionary family to partner with us in training leaders, arriving this winter/early spring, Lord willing. Ray Call will be coordinating a diploma program in Missions, Evangelism and Church Planting.
- Praise God construction on the new classroom, four offices, and a cafe has made good progress. Thank you for your prayers. As we have been growing, we realized that we needed the office space more than the space we originally had planned for hospitality.
- Praise God for a recent missions conference attended by about 300 from many churches, with our seminary represented. Pray for a growing missions movement in the Dominican churches.
|
| | | Family Update - Praise the Lord that he provides for our needs through you and your prayers.
- Praise God for Daniel, from Honduras, whom Bruce is mentoring. He is interested in being a missionary.
- Praise God that Kaleah is having a much better year academically in second grade, as new leadership has implemented a better plan.
- Pray for Anne's heavy teaching load in ESL, with many more students than last year.

Prayer Requests - Thank God for the big leaps ahead we are making as a seminary, with greater visibility, new programs, and more students--currently @150.
- Praise God our symposium on theological education was fantastic. We had 143 pastors from a wide range of churches attend. The Spirit moved as we considered the need and how to train up a new generation of church leaders. We discovered the development of Christ-like character as being primary. A follow-up breakfast meeting was held to discuss the results of the table discussions. Pray for how our seminary can be responsive to these pastors and their churches.
- Praise God for Pastor Elias, an M.A.T.S. student Bruce is currently meeting with, as he studies missions.
- Praise the Lord for providing a volunteer fundraiser for STS, as it was a primary need for us to move forward. Pray for Doug Young in taking on this new role. He attended the symposium, coming from Greenville, SC.
- Thank you for praying for Matias Casco's trip to the USA in Sept., where he was able to make some important contacts and make steps towards advancing our partnership with the Association of Biblical Counselors and planning our joint conference.
- Praise God six students in Liberia finished our course on Introduction to Christian Counseling.
