| | Santiago Theological Seminary - Praise God for answering prayer in bringing students to begin this month our residential Certificate in Theology and Ministry. After I made a two-hour walking search and prayer, the Lord provided an affordable and spacious apartment for them to live in just a 15 minute walk from the seminary.
- Praise God it appears that between 40-50 students will begin the two-year 12 course Diploma in Theology in September.
- Pray for wisdom in how we should respond to the many requests we receive to bring our programs to cities in the DR and to various countries.
- Praise the Lord we have met the $20K foundation challenge grant. However, we still have a great need now for funds to keep us in operation. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of us at STS.
- We are excited that we have already reached 36% of our goal towards our $200K construction project to build a classroom, a hospitality room for visiting professors and small teams, and a cafe for STS. We are counting on your prayers and support as well. We had a ground-breaking prayer at our host church, Oasis, for phase one to start the first week of September.

| | | Family Update - Praise the Lord for a wonderful time with our family and friends and supporting churches in FL and PA in end of June and July.
- Praise God that Bruce's daughter Abby had a safe delivery with healthy and adorable Aubree.
- Praise God Kaleah made good progress in her reading this summer with Anne's instruction.
- Pray for Anne and Kaleah to have a blessed new school year at Santiago Christian School. We are thankful for our new neighbors with 3 boys across the street who also teach at the same school.

| | Aubree Sue was born July 9 to my daughter Abby and husband Aaron. This picture is from a few hours after being born in Pennsylvania Hospital. We were privileged to be able to be there at that time, and to have time with her older brother Ace.

Prayer Requests - Thank God for each of our staff and board members, for the synergy we feel in working together in leading the seminary, and for our complementary gifts.
- Instead of the apologetics conference this year, August 29-30 we will be having a symposium on theological education with three speakers--Sugel Michelen, Otto Sanchez, and Richard Pratt. They are widely recognized leaders in this field. Pray for those to attend (primarily pastors), the speakers, Alvaro Rodriguez's directing of it, and financial provision.
- Praise God for a good visit to the seminary by two volunteers from Philadelphia that helped with the organization of our library. Pray for this big project to get completed.
- Continue to pray that the Lord will provide a fundraiser for STS, as that is a primary need for us to move forward.
- Pray for Matias Casco, the coordinator for Christian counseling, as he travels in September for two weeks to the USA to meet with important contacts regarding training in counseling and fundraising.
- Pray for our STS Christian counseling courses being taught in Liberia, which began this month.
