Sloan Museum of Discovery Celebrates 10 Years of Galentine’s Day with a Night of Shopping, Self-Care, and Sisterhood
Flint, MI — The pink carpet is rolling out once again as Sloan Museum of Discovery proudly celebrates the 10th Annual Galentine’s Day on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6-10 p.m. This milestone event honors a decade of friendship, fun, and the incredible women who have helped make Galentine’s Day a beloved community tradition.
What began ten years ago as a small gathering has grown into a must-attend evening. This year’s celebration will be bigger than ever, featuring shopping with over 70 vendors, interactive experiences, and plenty of opportunities to relax, recharge, and celebrate one another. Guests can enjoy karaoke, a photo booth, yoga sessions, tarot readings, massages, manicures, ear piercings, and henna, along with door prizes throughout the night. Participants will be able to join in the Photo Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a vacation to Club Barbados. Specialty drinks will be available at the bar, and snacks and treats can be purchased from the Coffee Beanery at Sloan Museum, making it easy to sip, snack, and stroll.
“This event has always been about celebrating women—our friends, our families, our community, and the amazing supporters who have helped Galentine’s Day grow year after year,” said Special Events Manager Olivia Kushuba. “For our 10th anniversary, we’re especially excited to honor all the ladies who have helped shape this event into what it is today.”
The evening is proudly sponsored by Dort Financial Credit Union, whose support helps keep Galentine’s Day accessible and fun for the entire community. Tickets are just $5.00, making this the perfect night out to gather your friends, celebrate friendship, and enjoy a little indulgence without breaking the bank. This is an 18+ event.
