Bring up to 5 family photos, slides or 8"x11" documents to be professionally, digitally archived. You’ll leave with the photos you brought and a USB thumb drive with your digitized photos. Bring the mother or mother-figure in your life and share special memories via a recorded oral history. Includes refreshments while you wait. Walk-ins welcome - no appointments necessary. New traveling exhibit opens at Sloan Museum May 16, 2026

The Lost World of Dragons opens May 16 through September 13, just in time for a summertime stay-cation destination! This 6,000 square-foot exhibition, developed by Stage 9 Exhibits and generously sponsored by Consumers Energy, explores the mysteries surrounding these ancient mythical beasts. Interactives include:
• Animatronic dragons from different regions of the world
• Unique photo opportunities
• Creative interactive stations that inform and engage
• A dragon fossil dig
• A scavenger hunt
• VR dragon flight experience with HTC Vive
