ICE DINOSAURS: The Lost World of the Alaskan Arctic exhibit at Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint ends this Sunday, May 3. ICE DINOSAURS takes visitors of all ages on an extraordinary journey through time to explore the majestic ice-age creatures of the Alaskan Arctic with groundbreaking discoveries, animatronic displays, real fossils, and more! Produced by Imagine and generously sponsored by the Nartel Family Foundation, this immersive experience will be open to the public during Sloan Museum's regular hours through Sunday, May 3. The Lost World of Dragons Exhibit Opens May 16!

Sloan Museum of Discovery's next interactive exhibit, The Lost World of Dragons, opens May 16 through September 13, just in time for a summertime stay-cation destination!  This 6,000 square foot exhibition, developed by Stage 9 Exhibits and generously sponsored by Consumers Energy, explores the tales surrounding these ancient mythical beasts. It is designed to engage all ages but recommended for ages 8+.

Visitors will be immersed in stories and mythology of dragons of nearly every region and culture, spanning from Norway to ancient China. The Lost World of Dragons celebrates and explores both the history of and science behind how the dragon lore has grown through ages and cultures.

The Lost World of Dragons features several components, including:
• Animatronic dragons from different regions of the world

Unique photo opportunities
• Creative interactive stations that inform and engage
• Magnetic puzzles and engraved plate rubbing stations
• A dragon fossil dig
• A scavenger hunt
• VR dragon flight experience with HTC Vive
• Custom designed themed scenery environments
