| | | Special Notice for June 5-6: during the campus-wide celebration of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation's centennial this weekend, select shows at Longway Planetarium will be offered with free admission on June 5, 5-8 p.m. and June 6, Noon-5 p.m. Please be aware that patrons will not be able to purchase or reserve tickets in advance for the free shows. Ticket vouchers for the Friday June 5 shows at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. will be given out starting at 4 p.m. on a first-come first-served basis at the temporary ticket tent located outside Longway Planetarium. Free ticket vouchers for Saturday June 6 shows at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m, 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. will be given out starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. | | At Sloan Museum on Friday, June 5, 5-8 p.m., and Sat., June 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. there will be free general admission and free admission to the current special exhibit, The Lost World of Dragons. There are no advanced ticket reservations needed during those free hours. Additionally, Sloan Museum is offering special activities on Saturday from Noon-6 p.m. including a seedling giveaway in the front lobby; a Soap Box Derby competition in the Durant Vehicle Gallery for ages 18 and younger; table tennis competitions; and a special "Elephant Toothpaste Demonstration" next to the outdoor entertainment stage at 2:20-2:40 p.m.
The Mott Foundation Centennial Family Fun Days will be taking place throughout the Flint Cultural Center June 5-7, 2026, culminating with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Sunday.
