Subject: Hey, Hey we're the Monkees!

Hello Friend,

You might be old enough to remember a pop group from the 60's, called the Monkees.

They were America's answer to the Beatles (but not really), and had a tv show for 2 seasons
and a whole bunch of hit songs, such as "Last train to Clarksville" and  "I'm a Believer".

So the group (Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Davy Jones) had been touring for the past few years.

One of the members, Michael Nesmith, refused to tour and instead went on to produce music
instead.

Plus, his Grandmother had invented post it notes, so he was not short of money apparently.

Last year, one of the touring group members, Davy Jones passed away.

So guess what? Michael Nesmith has agreed to do a tour with the other two remaining members
and so they will be touring again this Summer.

When I was in Liverpool, UK a few years ago (and you know who came from there don't you?)
the Monkees were starting the tour the night I happened to be there.

But my daughters and I had to head back to London, and so we missed it.

Sad.

But let's not monkee around anymore now.

It's already the 20th of the the Month of May, and that means we are just 10 days shy
of our Meade LX90 promotion coming to an end.

And that means, you will miss the "Last train to Clarksville" on this deal.

So have a look, and maybe you'll say: "I'm a Believer".

Offer good through May 31, 2014...

Clear Skies,

Ray "I'm a Believer" Khan

PS  And that's not Belieber, as in Justin Belieber, who continues to make a monkey of himself on a regular basis
