Subject: Today's Stats +Eye-Catchers + Hot Form Horses

Hello Friend

I hope you had a great weekend and your week has started well. Whisper is quietly but we may just have a dry bank holiday which would be welcome,  fingers crossed!

I've just posted a new 'over the shoulder' video for those of you who like watching /listening to my dulcet tones! :)

In it, I look back at a couple of races from Sandown on Sunday, my thinking behind flagging the winner of the 18.45 and also my thoughts on the 17.45 – especially the slow pace, how it didn’t suit a fair few of them.

I talk over the race replay with my thoughts. I suspect it will throw up a few winners when some of them face a different sort of test.

Finally I flick through a handful of ‘hot form handicaps’ run in the last 30 days and highlight the odd horse for the notebook.

As always, if you watch on Youtube you can speed me up with the settings cog at the bottom, adjusting the playback speed if I’m meandering too slowly for you!

If you’ve any questions, thoughts, suggestions or whatever, fire away down in the comments below the video. You can also find it on the blog, and use the comments function if you wish, HERE >>>

Some stats of interest...

Over on the blog i've had a go at the 2.10 Bangor, with the jumps action slowly hotting up again as the winter season draws nearer.

I've also flagged a few Flat Pointers of interest, which you may wish to note down/use in your punting/analysis

  1. Gary Moore's in hot form at the moment, 6/15, 7p +24 in the last 14 days, 60% rivals beaten. He's got a few runners at Salisbury although the one I liked is a NR, an outsider at Yarmouth in the 4.35, and a few entered in the coming days. That's the best form I can remember him being in for some time and maybe he'll add to the winners in the next week.
  2. Hector Crouch is a jockey to note around Salisbury, 8/27, 14p +64 SP with all rides here in the last year
  3. He's also 5/12,8p here , +6 on Ralph Beckett's runners there. They team up with Brasca in the 6.35, who may be short enough for many of you at 11/4, but looks solid. Hollie Doyle rides one for Simon Hodgson also for the first time and she's 3/6 for the yard, which caught the eye.
  4. Finally, Clive Cox & Adam Kirby generally do well at Salisbury, 9/32, 15p +6 here all rides last 5 years… AND... 6/18, 11p +15 with 2 YOs

Something there to use, ponder or ignore as you please!

Have a great day,

Josh
