Subject: Free Ebor Festival Guide & Three Trainer/Jockey Combos

Hello Friend

York's Ebor Festival starts tomorrow and it's usually a great four days racing.

Today i've another decent Festival Guide for you from my friends at Free Racing Tips.

Before that I thought I'd share three 'trainer/jockey' combos from my members' big meeting stats post that I'll be keeping an eye on this week at York... these stats from recent Ebor Festivals...

Richard Hannon/ Sean Levey / Non-handicaps: 5 bets / 3 wins / 3p / 60% sr / +18 BFSP

Karl Burke / Daniel Tudhope / All runners: 4 bets / 3 wins / 3p / 75% sr / +40 BFSP

Andrew Balding / Oisin Murphy/ Aged 3 & 4: 10 bets / 4 wins / 5p / 40% sr / +37 BFSP

Very small numbers here to be treated with caution, but this sort of angle, at a meeting like this, will always have small samples. There’s logic behind each combo for why they may well continue ticking along…

Hannon does like having runners here this week, a big yard, a few decent horses etc – for all I couldn’t find a more general systematic way in (8/74 all runners at the meeting, -30 SP, since 2013, all bar one winner in ‘non handicaps’ though), but Levey usually gets first pick these days when free, bar any Shadwell horses etc, so it makes sense there could be more winners for the pair. They’ve had one winner at each of the last three meetings.

I think all of Danny’s winners for Karl here this week have been for his ownership retainer, Clipper Logistics (the silver/grey), and this could well be a week they target.

Andrew and Oisin have been having a good time of it, Oisin chasing that jockeys’ title again and as such added significance when he’s booked I think, given he’d usually have a choice of a few in each race at a ‘Festival’. He will be desperate for Andrew to win the Trainers’ championship also.

We shall see how many runners those combos have and whether any can hit the board! Fingers crossed.
