Subject: Saturday's Selections, 14/1, 20/1, 8/1

Good Morning Friend

To Cheltenham...

I've attacked a couple of the handicaps at Cheltenham today with three pokes, posted at 6pm last night. (14s, 20s, 8s) Thankfully for me they're being nibbled at, but that's only half the battle.

You can find those, the write ups, video 'walk through' all HERE>>>

There's some great chat/comments building as always that are worth a flick through

I've failed to build on our Silver Trophy winner as yet, but i've been close enough with my 'big race focus' (C2+ handicaps) inc a head 2nd and a 'superb' shortlist of three yesterday... I attacked the 2m handicap chase, and thought one of Rouge Vif, On The Slopes or Beat The Judge was definitely winning.

Guess which two this doughnut backed?! Doh.

A timely early season reminder of the mantra... 'if in doubt, let class win out!'

I suspect he's one of a few decent ground horses who spent a large chunk of last season floundering around in hock deep mud, and will once again come alive if getting some good in the going. We move on.

With any luck i've found a Saturday winner for us but in any case, there's plenty to get stuck into today as always, and you can do so HERE>>>

I'll be spending the day hoping Aintree doesn't get too much rain, but I think it's a forlorn hope. Really Super won't run in the Old Roan if it's soft or worse. Amy has another on the card so I think she may travel up, provided today's official going isn't updated at 4pm to Heavy (it may, you never know) and then they can walk the course Sunday morning. If we pull her out there's a 2m AW handicap at Kempton on the 28th I think. She'll have a spin there before a winter break and we can plot and plan for next March-Oct.

Sunday's post will be up soon enough and I will likely have a go at the odd race from Aintree, so you know where to head Sunday morning if you've any interesting in those thoughts.

For now, have a great day, stay safe, and best of luck with any bets as always,

Josh
