Subject: 🏇More Profit? August Trainers To Follow + Recap

Good Morning, Friend

I hope this email finds you in good spirits.

Monthly Trainers...

Yesterday I spent a little while digging around HorseRaceBase finding a few Flat trainers 'to follow' this month.

I've landed on Nigel Tinker and William Muir... a combined +365 points to BFSP in the last eight Augusts, +45 points average a year... same again? We shall see...

You can flick through the FREE research post HERE >>>

After a decent July, my 'monthly trainers' now sit on +93.35 points profit (BFSP) since October 1st, if backing them all.

If messing around with £2 win bets at BFSP, a respectable +£186.70p or so. Not bad.

Fair to say I'll keep researching/posting those for now, and will continue to post the qualifiers in the daily Members' Posts, certainly through to the end of next April. They pulled in around +50 points during the winter jumps season and I'll take a repeat every year.

You can find the August angles HERE >>>

There is one qualifier today...

2.30 FL – Profound Alexander (14/1<) 7/1 (needs the blinkers to work, but maybe they will)

Goodwood & Galway...

I did send out some trainer angles for the two big festivals last week, posting qualifiers in the Members' posts, and they did well enough...

Goodwood: 10/42, 20p, +21.49 BFSP, +3.75 Betfair Place market.

Galway: 8/44, 21p, -6.46 BFSP, +22.63 Betfair Place market.

Those stats don't include a biggie Mullins winner, who 'qualified' on morning odds, 18/1< but not come the race... Dad's Lad who was 12s in the morning, drifted to 28/1 SP / 54/1 BFSP... but I know at least two people who had a go, which is the main thing. Maybe you did too! Sometimes the market doesn't have a clue.

All good fun, and as with the Newmarket July angles (+10-15), they did their job for fun stakes. The trainers at these big Festivals really can be more important than the horses.

Next up is York's Ebor Festival, which could well be the last one I attack with 'trainer angles', after which point my mind will switch more to the jumpers, for all it's nearly there already. Much prep to do.

Hopefully you found the Galway Plate trends of some use, for all the shortlist didn't include the winner, unlike Saturday's Steward's Cup trends which did the job in helping to find Commanche Falls at 25/1.

I used those Plate trends to help me tip Darasso on the blog, EW at 33s, before JP got to work on him, 10/1 SP. That was a silly price and it was agony watching him finish second, well clear of the rest. He really should pick up something decent over fences, especially if able to hold a more prominent position. Ok form, given the winners' profile/best.

I'd hoped Hewick may not have the pace for that CD, but when lobbing along easily near the front, he was always going close if jumping, given he won Sandown's big race over 3m5f. The loose horse nearly helped me, but not quite!

Still, some confidence to take from that as the main season approaches, the next 3 months will no doubt fly by. The great game.

That's all for today,

GL with any bets as always, and do take a look at those August trainers,

All the best,

Josh
