Good Afternoon, Friend
I hope you enjoyed Royal Ascot and made a profit, a fantastic, challenging week of racing as always. I stuck to the handicaps, used my trends to help, played in eight of them on the blog, and thankfully landed on two winners at 33/1 and 4/1, ending the week on 2/15 bets, 5 places (inc wins), +26 points profit and a 167% ROI. +ÂŁ650 to my ÂŁ25 bets, job done. Booting home Ascending on Day 1, in a superb finish, being the highlight of course. I'm already looking forward to The July Cup meeting, Goodwood, Galway and York's Ebor meeting.
And now, mini break from all things horse racing...
Your Wimbledon Edge Starts Here
Wimbledon starts next week, and the betting markets are already in full grass-court mode. The usual suspects will be piling in, chasing old narratives and eye-catching averages.
But, honestly, most of it is just noise.
Thatâs why the Tennis Profits team have put together something different, in a short read called Grass Court Gold: The 7 Key Stats for Wimbledon.
Itâs a focused guide designed to show you which numbers actually matter when it comes to grass court form and performance.
Inside, Betfair pro Paul Shires shares the seven numbers he uses to spot value before the market catches up. Thereâs no fluff or guesswork, just sharp, actionable insights from someone whoâs been doing this full-time since 2010.
Youâll discover:
Why grass court form isnât all it seems (and what to look at instead)
Which serve/return numbers really shift prices
What break point data reveals about true momentum
And itâs all free. But only until Wimbledon starts.
